Thanks to everyone who joined us for today’s Annual Membership Meeting, including our newest “member,” the infant son of Jenny (and Paul) Adkins. This cute little guy joined Mark up in front of the group as he shared OWA’s Year-In-Review, giving Jenny a chance to eat her potato bar lunch. After the informal meeting, participants enjoyed a short tour of Coyote Run Farms and its created and restored wetlands. It was a great day!

It will only take minutes for you to respond. The damage to Clean Water Act protections of our wetlands and other bodies of water could endure for decades.

Ohio Wetlands Association joins the Sierra Club and local residents in expressing our concern for the repercussions of the wetland loss associated with this project in Trumbull County. While we must recognize and respect the fact that this project complies with the regulations, this addresses the letter of the law - but seems to fall short of the spirit and intent. We feel that a less damaging, more creative alternative is needed. As with any development project, every effo…
