ISSUES OF CONCERN
Ohio Wetlands Association is dedicated to achieving the highest level of protection for Ohio's wetlands. Over 90% of our wetlands have already been lost and many of those that remain are highly impacted and degraded. We strive to create an atmosphere where public policy supports wetland conservation goals. Some recent proposed policy changes would erode existing protections which could diminish the critical public services that our wetlands provide. We encourage you to contact lawmakers, decision makers and policy leaders in support of strong wetland protection.
